It was a running game at the old Doctor Who cons, counting how many recycled BBC actors one could spot in a given episode. Extra points for multiple appearances on Who itself.

There was also the joke I heard more than one of the actors tell about the Beeb’s salary scale: “It enables me to afford the luxuries of life, like bread and shoes…”

Then there was that one time where they hired a former Doctor Who actor to be the Doctor himself…
