They’re proactively stopping panic buying so crazy morons don’t fuck it up for the rest of us again.

Germany has laws that allow retailers to limit purchases to “normal household amounts”.

But in many cases, it is not people buying to stock up, they are bunkering it with an eye for re-selling it at extortionate prices later. That is certainly what we saw in spring of last year.
