I don’t see anything that wacky about the column. The headline writer may have gone overboard, though. While I doubt that The One has any religion at all other than his narcissism he has nobody to blame but himself if “sekrit muslim” rumors continue. He peppered that Cairo speech with a lot of winks and clearly wanted to give his Muslim audience the impression that He was “one of them”.
