For what? Inheiriting double-digit inflation, a mideast oil embargo, and the aftermath of a completely corrupt Nixon administration that literally destroyed the trust in federal government?

If you objectively look at what he did, he wasn’t the best that the United States ever had, but he by and far wasn’t the worst. Honestly, his big failing was due to the fact that he trusted TOO much in the goodness of people, and it came back to bite him.
