Pure racist hatred: they’re not even hiding it any more.

Conjecture: the recent string of worse-than-expected economic reports has made the crazy Right overconfident. They believe that because of the economy the country will elect whomever they nominate for President; they expect to dominate Congress as well. Thinking that electability is no longer a concern, they no longer watch what they say as they plan to ram the candidate(s) of their dreams through the nomination process.

Reply: I disagree. The crazies still haven’t settled on a candidate and if they don’t fairly soon, they won’t be able to have much of a say. Mitt Romney will be too far ahead to catch up to. No one else has his money or organization, and the further elements of the right don’t make up a national majority of GOP primary voters. They might still carry the primaries in states like Mississippi, but still lose since primaries are a 50-state affair.
