I think the preferred term among wingnuts is “Pundit”

It’s such a joke. At first they were just bloggers. Suddenly they became pundits and now many of them are either calling themselves reporters or journalists. On the last two they rarely if ever have the credentials, education or experience in the fields. More importantly they are not even remotely engaged in real journalism or reporting. Copying and pasting what you see at Michelle Malkin’s site does not make one a reporter. They remind me of these religious nuts that just start calling themselves reverend. It’s a bit of a scam really.
