When a law enforcement officer went to secure the weapon with a zip tie through the trigger area and around the grip, the gun went off as the zip tie was pulled tight.

That stated, the guy that DID bring it shouldn’t have had the gun loaded

Looks like the cop set it off. I’m pretty sure it’s common practice to check the chamber when someone hands you a weapon.
