I am amazed at how deftly they turned Chuck from a sympathetic character into an almost-villain before I knew what hit me. My possibly-weird, decades-long fandom of Michael McKean is vindicated, however.

Also, the gun-laden guy Mike disarmed in the parking garage is a scarily/hilariously accurate parody of a former co-worker, right down to the mannerisms and facial expressions.
