Update: his boss just came to the house to apologize in person. Husband didn’t let him in the house, met him on the driveway.

He said there was a scramble to figure out what to do and the right hand didn’t know what the left was doing (in my opinion, that’s because they didn’t take it seriously or had a “surely it won’t happen here” mindset). He said a strict protocol will be put in place this week as a result of the fallout. Husband feels better, doesn’t feel like he was left out of the loop maliciously. Not sure how I feel yet.
