It’s late (for me) so I can’t see where we disagree. Voting for Sharia law? Has that ever happened. I would think only in a democracy would one have the opportunity.

The USA is more than a democracy. It has a constitution which would prevent imposition of Sharia law even if a majority of Americans voted for it.
