Suppose for a moment that tomorrow Obama allowed the state of Hawaii to release his original birth certificate. The response of the Nirthers would be:

A) Oh were satisfied now. Nevermind.
B) That isn’t the real original Birth Certificate (I can tell, it would have been in Kenya).
C) Ron Paul

It is not up to President Obama to allow access to his birth certificate. He has no authority over that certificate. Birthers have an issue with Hawaiian policy (which seems to be the policy of other states, including California where I was born) of not giving direct access to long form birth certificates.
