Yes, especially since collateral damage does, indeed, exist. Innocent people do get killed. Israel has absolutely every right to defend herself against attack, even though it may mean that non-terrorists get caught in the crossfire, but using language that dehumanizes is a step in the wrong direction.

And besides, it overlooks an important point. They’re human. Evil humans. Evil is a human thing.

I was being generous to the rocket launching murderous vermin. I have a lot worse things to call them and humans aren’t one of them but I’ll hold back.
