Yes. Then again, they’ve become habituated to hate everything about Obama since they first heard of him SEVEN years ago (yes, it’s been that long since he first announced his candidacy).

These people will still be screaming that Obama “took their guns away” 50 years from now. The fact that he didn’t take away anyone’s guns is irrelevant.

Hating Obama is something of a cultural marker, a way of proclaiming (without explicitly stating) the reactionary view that America is, or should be, a white Christian nation.
