What I find telling is the people who knew Trump the most i.e. New Yorkers especially people in NYC rejected him overwhelmingly. That to me really says something and that people who only really knew him as “that success business guy on the Apprentice” embraced him the most.

New Yorkers would barely give Trump the time of day if they met him. High society has rejected/disdained Trumps since his daddy was alive.
