As I said, I’m a Luddite and I’ve got no clue what upgrading to SSD even means. So when Firefox kept giving me the spinning beachball of death because because the OS was too old to support the updates, I updated the OS, but now it tends to run hot, and I’m going to need to put some money into a new battery soon and the cord is splitting, and so forth.

As to the phone, there are some occasions when I really could use a smart phone. Since I’ve gone on Medicare and am not paying gobs of money for medical insurance, I’m going to splurge a bit.
