of course they were looking for trouble
whether they targeted this group or just came upon them i dont know because

as i understand it, the rally was at the national mall
this happened at the lincoln memorial

it had absolutely nothing to do with why they were in DC

It was said they were told to meet up at the Lincoln Memorial for when the buses came to take them back to Kentucky. This all supposedly happened while waiting. You know, the kids will be kids excuse.

Why the chaperones let them get involved is still the big question for me.
