I saw him on a local TV show here (Dallas) last year, wielding the Sledge-O-Matic in an outdoor venue (outside the WFAA-TV studios at Victory Park, with Gordon Keith). Just like the good old days.

I didn’t know that Gallagher has a chemical engineering degree. Wow.

Yet he never applied that knowledge to the art of destroying watermelons. Such a waste.

I also never knew that he leased his act to his younger brother in the 1990s.
