I don’t think Zimmerman is totally “innocent” in all this. It was his gun and he pulled the trigger. He was the one that went out of his way to keep an eye on a kid that wasn’t doing anything wrong. I think Martin made a tactical error to confront a guy who was out of line and it spiraled out of control.

Indeed, hence why I think they should have gone gone for manslaughter or even negligent homicide. The reasoning why they went for 2nd degree is currently known only to them, but I fear we might see another Casey Anthony, where the defense chooses not to accept a plea bargain and instead force the prosecution to present a rather weak case to the jury.
