Doesn’t surprise me. Honestly, it’s been put this way,. The media makes a lot of how Clinton doesn’t have high approval ratings. However, the only group she really doesn’t have high approval ratings with is non-Hispanic whites. She’s well liked by blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and other groups. Trump meanwhile has disapproval rates among everyone pretty much.

I like her a helluva lot more than I did 6 months ago.

I started out feeling I reluctantly had to vote for her just to keep Donald out of office. But a long campaign, for all the angst it causes us, is a good way to get a feel for how the candidates conduct themselves under pressure and how well they manage a large organization, and she’s been aces.

She hired all the right people, they do their jobs incredibly well. There’s been no turnover. She’s shown grace and poise beyond the ordinary, is well-prepared for every eventuality, and has exquisite timing for when and how to bring not-her-natural-allies onboard. I no longer expect generic competence from her in office, I now expect superior performance.
