“Simplifying the tax code” by reducing the number of brackets is complete and utter bullshit. Nobody is that stupid that they can’t comprehend seven brackets. There are more brackets than that in March Madness and nobody complains about that!

The real question with tax reform, that never gets addressed is what will someone’s effective tax rate going to be? I suspect there are going to be a lot of people under Trump’s planpowerpoint slide that are going to see their effective tax rate go up.
