It will be what it will be. This Supreme Court seat is of supreme importance, and Republicans need to ensure that they do all they can to ensure it is filled by a conservative, or at least a moderate. But if Obama nominates a liberal, then the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee should hold a hearing and then vote that person down on a party-line vote.
