I think the reason is that most Catholics have their kids in Catholic school, as my daughter is. Lots of non-Catholics also have their kids in Catholic schools. Here in Baton Rouge, we have more Catholic elementary schools than I care to count right now, and 4 high schools. So there’s plenty of room.

The Catholics have no real problem with science these days, as long as everyone stays on his own side of the Big Bang.
