Hell, according to the Chicago Tribune (which does lean Republican, but is not crazy and cares much for the facts) part of the reasons talks broke down was that when Obama tried to put a group of spending cuts before tax hikes, the Dems in Congress started revolting. The Democrats are under some strong pressure from the moveon.org wing of their party.

Um…no. Boehner rejected it. The Legislative Dems were pissed off because they weren’t in on the discussion- the discussion was between the Prez and Boehner. Have you noticed how orange he is? Weird.
