Besides the military AR does not take the .223, it takes the more powerful version of the same overall size. .223 is a sub military round. Put the military round in your .223 and expect it to burst or fail.

That’s two distinct ways civilian version differ from the guns used in war.

Reminds me of the corvette. Fast enough to be deadly if abused. But it’s far from a race car.
