Some forget there is an option that lies between no access for vehicles and a free for all. Oh well, those points of view serve the critics quite well and so get undeserved momentum. *sigh*
Sometimes you lose those rights by being an asshole and breaking the law. Unfair government TYRANNY, I know.

The BLM closed the canyon to ATVs and dirt bikes seven years ago after motorized-use proponents illegally constructed a 7-mile-long, 4-foot-wide trail through the canyon. The trail — complete with bridges, berms and stiles — cut through archaeological sites.
