Trump has not tapped into the Bible-thumper demographic at all, so his chances of winning the nomination or even the general election are slim, as far as I’m concerned. If he were going after the Religious Right like Cruz, Jindal, Huckabee, Santorum, Walker and Carson are, then I’d be a lot more worried. Cruz scares me a lot more, because he knows what to say to win those people to his side.

Veep Cruz will pick up that thumper vote slack.
