For your weekend viewing pleasure, today we have the original 1972 made-for-TV film The Night Stalker, starring Darren McGavin, Simon Oakland, Carol Lynley and Barry Atwater. Teleplay written by Richard Matheson and directed by John Llewellyn Moxey.

This film would serve as the basis for the TV series Kolchak: The Night Stalker, which premiered on ABC in 1974 and lasted all of one season.
