It’s a scene in Annie Hall, where the character Woody Allen plays is doing standup.

You don’t have to believe the Eisenhower was trying to ‘screw the country’ to find it funny. I’m surprised so many people haven’t seen Annie Hall, but then again there are loads of classic movies I haven’t seen.
The joke is non partisan.

Wrong. Woody Allen could have picked LBJ for the joke. LBJ really was screwing the country, and not in a nice way. But that wouldn’t have fit the liberal agenda.
