i see a lot of reqs for SQL “experts” - this is a good strong point since SQL type work, and work requiring database expertise in general, is much more widely distributed around the country than application development, and the MIS departments of most big businesses might be likely targets

i generally put my resume up on a lot of boards like monster board, dice, cybercoders, even craig’s list, but i also compulsively check the listings on those boards and email out maybe 3 - 6 resumes a day. the end of the year is not a great time to get responses, tho…
