I propose that most of the ranks in the middle be replaced with different kinds of honco. For example:

Honco, Junior Grade
Assistant Night Honco
Senior Honco
Gunnery Honco
Rear Honco
Vice Prohonco for Lizard Affairs
Master Chief Honco of the Lizard Corps
Battle Honco of the Republic

etc.
