I’d be happy to see the financial conservatives drop the hatred, religiosity, militarism & gun fucking and become a more data driven, pragmatic, center right party fixated on finding practical solutions designed towards eliminating most of the national debt.

I still wouldn’t join them but that would be a much healthier partner to deal with in terms of our being able to afford many of Sanders’ better ideas like universal healthcare and higher education.

If they were data-driven, they wouldn’t be financial conservatives. Strip out the SoCon nonsense from Conservative Economics, and you have a failed hypothesis. It’s got no predictive value.
