This is almost getting to PLL levels. Just saying.

Not sure what PLL means, but fuck it. I just don’t see how this gets any fucking better. We’ve seen the infinite capacity of the electorate to blame Dems, Liberals, PoCs, women, minorities, anything but white conservatives with massively consolidated power for things like this, even when they get directly hurt by these policies, even when those policies prove destructive and fatal. And we’ve seen near infinite capacity for the current crop of the GOP to take advantage of that and do whatever the fuck they want anyways because they know their seat probably won’t be at risk. So I can’t see a way this doesn’t pass the Senate, and this was possibly our best shot at stopping one of Trump’s key wants.

And we’ve already seen the media crowing for Trump’s victory, all the while endlessly wringing about how horrible and superevil Hillary, Obama, etc. are because of things they’ve given the GOP endless passes on, time and time again.

I’m ping-ponging between wanting to scream and wanting to cry endlessly because I feel surrounded by futility, and I can’t disconnect from it because this mess has soaked into almost every aspect of American life at this point.
