They were also “rattled” when they were asked to denounce white supremacy a few months ago. They had ignored the resolution, had adjourned the convention and were on their way home when the news broke that they had failed to address the matter. It was only then that they went back and voted for a revised version of the resolution. They can be as “rattled” as they want to be, but based on their past actions, they’re still cowards. I don’t expect them to denounce Roy Moore because they never will.
