Mm. I’m not as confident as you are that every last major actor in it would glass the entire world to make sure their enemies don’t hold sway over it once their country has fallen.

Unfortunately, we all know Trump will do that. But that’s more an argument to have him out of power before Russia ‘reincorporates’ its breakaway oblasts than to try to pursue pacifism when we know Putin demands all of the USSR’s European territory and obeisance from its Asian successor states.
