Respectfully, your compassion is underwhelming - he’s talking about helping mostly those who are disabled and/or elderly and receiving LESS than $500 a month.
Moreover, they will use that money to stimulate the economy - just think, they still have to eat and pay medical/pharmaceutical bills and the like.

RW, I do agree with you on the points you make. It isn’t the fact that these folks are getting the money (which I would support in any case). My problem is with the obfuscation. If the Obama administration chooses to help these folks, I’m fine with it, and give it a thumbs up.

That said, I am not comfortable with the idea that the incoming administration feels it can blow this by as part of the “stimulus” package that is already getting out of control.
