Well, I did. check the link. Though that one is slightly tongue-in-cheek.

If you want a group that isn’t a college team name, Mcspiff provided the term applied to the celtic tribes. There are also east and west germanic tribes, magyar tribes, and assorted other tribes before you even leave europe.

If you want contemporary tribes, they certainly exist in both Iraq and Afghanistan, which still count some of their ethnic groups as belonging to various tribes. There are also a number of distinct tribal groups existing in Africa, diverse parts of asia, and, depending on which anthropologist you ask, australia and many of the pacific islands.

Oh, and the mormons have something going on, but that ties into both indoamerican and jewish tradition, so we’ll forgo that.
