I really hate it when people twist my words to make me sound like a wingnut jackass, sarcasm slash or not. I said nothing of the sort and you very well know that. America’s health issues extend beyond access to healthcare, such as food deserts or work environments that enforce “working lunches” when they actually do provide lunch breaks at all. Both of these negatively impact the poor, yet they’re not going to go away if we adopt universal healthcare.

I was not out to mock your words, merely to point out that the conservative worldview on one hand promotes a social model in which the ideal is one of women staying at home to raise families while at the same time promoting an economic model that makes such an arrangement unfeasible or impossible.
