Excuse me. I haven’t read the entire thread yet, I just caught the frontpage portion.

Do I understand this correctly? Because the Taliban - and I’m sure many mainstream Muslims - reject Darwin’s theory of evolution - the people who reject it in favor of intelligent design or creationism are in some manner equivalent to the Taliban?

Are ‘mainstream’ or ‘moderate’ Muslims, (however you want to charcterize the non-murderous Muslims) who may reject Darwinian evolution to be evaluated on the merits provided by the Taliban’s views?

So, non-Muslims who believe in intelligent design or creationism are sullied by the fact that the Taliban also reject Darwinian evolution?

WTF?

Since when did this become an honorable method of argument?
