Maybe not as an individual. But the fact is, we have to do something ourselves and just ignore what other people are doing.

My post was (of course) partly sarcastic, but it reflects the reality that, just when you think you’ve managed to convince people to get past 1) and 2) in the list, and you’re debating 3), some other nutter from Oklahoma pops up and you’re right back to 1) again.

Well, I have nothing to do with the nutters.

I whole heatedly agree that action has to be taken, but do maintain we aren’t an island. We need to do things in conjunction with other nations in a coordinated way if we are going to face the issues head on. For example, we don’t need to keep building power plants. James Bay, in Quebec is an enormous resource we can tap into. I recall reading that resource, when finally completed, could supply all the electricity to the US east of the Mississippi.

We have to have a coordinated plan. That’s all I’m saying.
