The politics is all manufactured bullshit. Reagan raised the debt limit 18 times. Dubya did it 7 times. Not a goddamn peep out of most of the GOP that’s currently in Congress. NOW it’s an issue? Really?

It’s never been a problem before. It’s been raised quietly and cleanly in the past. Now you have a bunch of Know-Nothings in the House GOP being led by their teabagger counterparts into running this country off a cliff, and the Beltway GOP types like Boehner are powerless to stop it.
