Sure. But anyone offering a definitive response at the moment is already well into zealot territory and unrepresentative of the general population. Just like the primaries, which are won by appealing to the fringe, while elections are won by appealing to the middle. At the moment, however, it’s simply too far in advance to draw any meaning from such polls.

I think all that can be said at this point is that the next election is, currently, Obama’s election to lose.

On a strictly personal note: Romney creeps me out, for reasons I can’t explain. No matter what environment he’s in, from brightly-lit studio to sunny backyard barbecue, he always looks like he’s holding a flashlight under his chin.

The hair helmet and sunny personality creep me out. Prototype politician. I think he is some sort of Borg.
