Ugg. I’ve been following various Haiti relief stories on mainstream news sites this morning and saw in the comment sections the same sort of stomach turning arguments.

I suppose the Hot Air-types felt the need to spread their “insights” outside their insular communities.

I don’t think that’s quite a fair characterization of Hot Air. The comments pulled, above, don’t seem to be representative of the comments on Haiti as a whole over there. Like everywhere else, there’s quite a lot of offered prayers, wishes for speedy aid and other expressions of hope and horror. It’s nowhere near a solid wall of nastiness, and unless it becomes one it shouldn’t be portrayed that way.
