They’d be stupid not to downplay. November’s an eternity in political time, they have the power of the WH against them, etc.
Still, the House feels like it’s going.
And enough senate seats to make a difference.
Obama would probably rather have a divided Congress… he’d get more done.
Well, but there’s that pesky subpoena thing. So maybe not.

If the TPs have much success, we will have a whole new concept of “divided congress”. It could make the Pres’ life a whole lot easier.
