I watched a few questions and it was clear that the Republicans are continuing with their efforts to make hydroxychoroquine a success to support Trump. None of them appeared to acknowledge that the reason so many doctors have been requesting that drug was solely due to Trump’s promotion of it as a treatment — and not because they read a journal or medical newsletter that recommended its use.

the thing about medicine and science is, for the most part, they are self correcting towards things that work

if the drug worked, they’d be using it
they’re not, because it doesn’t
