To people who see pregnancy as a punishment for screwing around that you should have to live with, yes.

Those people are a small, small minority, but when you meet one, they’re kinda horrifying.

My son was born with cancer. A cashier asked what was wrong with him and I told her. Her response was, “Did you ever think his illness is a punishment from God for being an unwed mother?” I think she was being honest and really didn’t see how hurtful her remark was, but I didn’t want to hang out with her any more.
