I’m mostly teasing. The way you talk about her seems very honest and open. For all the problems I may have with my parents (and we all have some!), I value so much being able to talk to them. I just figure its probably hard to let your kid go at 18 and nice to hear that we mostly make it through.

It’s hard to let them go at 18, but they’ll be back (with spouses/kids) in their 20’s. I used to have 5 hostages to Fate, now I have 13.
