If you dig into details you will discover that yes, he does make implied promises that don’t get kept.

No, I don’t think he can be a formidable opponent for Obama. When he hits the national stage the numerous local issues will explode across the national stage, again just as Perry’s did.

Rasmussen has him and Obama in a dead heat, and Christie isn’t even running yet. If he decides to get in expect a real race in 2012.
