Ant update: the peanut butter bait is a smashing success. Hopefully there is enough borax mixed in that I am actually doing something beyond creating a pet ant colony.

Meanwhile, the husband pointed out that I am (hopefully) temporarily making lots of ants very happy. At which point he got a pointed reminder not to humanize the ants for me or I will feel very bad about what I am doing, even though the next step I am tempted by involves a flamethrower.

…mostly joking about that last bit. But only mostly.

A bic lighter and a can of aqua-net hair spray is always fun. (if you can get around the whole “Setting the place on fire” drawback.
