I lucked out this year, there was only a little political talk and I was mostly able to keep focused on the football game at the time. It was fun listening to my mom bitch about millennials because Prop 5 failed out here, and then tell everyone she won’t buy the kids any Nike gear.

Oh my GOD, my folks would not SHUT UP about politics. My dad and my sister basically fed off each other, and the epic moment came when my dad stormed angrily from the room during the Macy’s parade because he saw two girls kissing on camera.
