People who have had past life regression under hypnosis generally reveal rather ordinary existences. The technique has been used on a very limited basis, but with success, to treat some severe forms of mental illness.

I’m somewhat familiar with hypnosis.

My remarks were directed not at those who suffer mental illness but rather the new age whackjob crowd.
